How to Name Your Business

Where did you come up with the name Brainy Bird Media? I'm glad you asked!

Here's 5 Steps

1. I prayed about it. (If that's not you-- skip to step two!)

2. I thought about a simple object or animal that would be:

🐦 easily transferable to some merch!

🐦 whimsical and fun- that's me!

🐦 had ties to marketing- at least in my world

3. I wanted a company name that was 15 characters or less so I could have a consistent social media handle across all platforms.

4. I did research- other company names with birds, birds in general, other marketing agencies

I have been around the block awhile. I view other marketing companies as my colleagues rather than my competitors.

THE PIE IS BIG ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE TO GET A SLICE.

Side note: the term "bird brain" came about because a bird's brain is very small. However, birds are actually extremely smart and very committed, with several species that mate for life.

Because I'm in it for the long haul, because I believe that being accurate and authentic is important- I put the brainy first.

5. I made sure the symbol aligned with my company mission.

My niche is independently owned small businesses. Birds chirp in every town. In my world, they're talking about the coolest nest to hang out in, where to get the best worms #workbyreferral and where and when they are going south for the winter ❄️.#wny
